My current frustration
9/3/10 10:58 PM
Oh dear blogs and readers, I do apologize for neglecting you the past few days. Blame registration, homework and the Foghorn for my not keeping you up to date with my life. Even my facebook page has suffered neglect. But here I am, back in action, with plenty of ideas of what to write about for the next few days. For starters, I will tell you about my current frustration. Ok, so Friday nights I work at the Caller-Times, taking calls from high school football coaches and typing up players' stats. I love it! But I'm here tonight while my boyfriend, Rafael Nadal (well he'll be my boyfriend one day anyway) is playing in the U.S. Open and I am missing it! Oh woe! If anyone read this and is watching the match, please keep me updated. Ok, back to high school football!

I don't really know what to blog about tonight...

Meeting Seth Waid

Today I began my day upset, hostile and ready to take somebody out. I came to Del Mar only to find out I had been dropped from not one, but ALL of my classes. And the best reason someone at the cashier’s office could give me was that there was an “apparent glitch in the system.” Uh, you think? Its very apparent because I registered in May, paid in August. BUT after a few hours of running around (at least I knocked out my daily workout in the process) and talking with some really helpful faculty, I got all of my classes back. HUGE relief. After all that chaos though, I was not feeling very friendly. Ask my poor newspaper staff. I apologize to anyone I may have snapped at on account of my bad attitude. But I remembered I had promised to take copies of the...Today's great role model: Ke$ha.

Today, for the first time, I watched the video to “Take it off” by Ke$ha and, well, first of all, this girl can NOT dance. She really can’t even sing, and she’s more trashy than hot. So it completely baffles me as to how she has 4 chart-topping hits and millions of fans. Out of disbelief, I decided to watch her other videos. It only went down hill from there. Is she wearing the same ugly boots in “Your love is my drug” as she is in “Tik tok”?! And it seems to me that in every video she wakes up in her clothes from the night before, only to go on day two of partying…. In the same clothes. EW! Having gotten all of that off my chest, I really feel sorry for this girl… She is degrading herself! Which only makes it ok...Guys: Girls are not Burger King!

I am coming to accept that in high school I must have been ugly. This is because in the past few months, four guys who I once liked in high school (who passed up the opportunity of being with me back then, to put it kindly) have suddenly come around, asking me out and telling me what a catch I am.
Uh, no I’m not going to get with you. And you can bet your bottom dollar I will not sleep with you.
Do guys think girls are like Burger King where they can have it their way whenever they want?
I’m sorry, but if you passed up your chance with me once before then sorry Charlie, you’re out of luck.
