Forever the Sickest Kids: How they got their start, How they met, and the fun mistakes along the way
Last Sunday, Forever the Sickest Kids performed at the House of Rock, jamming for all their local fans. The six-man band, out of Dallas, was formed in 2006 and is comprised of: Austin Bello, bass; Kyle Burns, drums; Johnathan Cook, vocals; Kent Garrison, keyboards; Marc Stewart, guitar and Caleb Turman, guitar. Turman went on PureVolume. com one day and accidently clicked the mouse causing them to get a music front page and pay $350 – they did not even have a song or the money. “When it happened I was totally freaking out,” said Truman. “I had to rush and call a friend to help us write and record a song in two days.” Truman said the song’s name was “Hey Brittany,” about a girl he met in college.
