On April Fools night, the Kyle Park concert kicked off with Ryan Beaver as the opening act and, after paying $10 for tickets, the crowd welcomed Beaver with whistles and beers held high.

Although Beaver is not quite as well known as Park in this area, Brewster Street’s attendees were more than willing to two-step to whatever was picked and plucked in true Texas Country style.

Even with the crowd seemingly paying full attention to Beaver and his band, there was no mistaking who the headliner was.

Obviously loving Corpus Christi and wanting to show some of his love, Park played “Cold in Colorado” second and packed the crowd at the front and center of the stage.

The rest of the night followed suit, keeping the fans into it and giving plenty of energy to Park.

“When Half Empty Shotgun” and “Alone in the Light” played, the crowd went especially crazy.

Park played well into the night and there didn’t seem to be a disappointed fan in sight.

The lines for the restroom were short, the beer prices were reasonable, and the pretty little country girls were in abundance with their blue-jean shorts and cute cowboy boots.

All in all, the concert was great and Park does a great job with keeping Texas Country spiced up and original.

Brewster Street Icehouse has shown time and time again why they are not hurting for business and should keep providing a great place for people to enjoy good music at a fair price.
