The DMC Cosmetology Department is offering services to DMC students, staff and faculty to help students train for the real world and gain hands-on experience.

According to the Cosmetology section of the DMC website, cosmetology students can shampoo, cut, and style hair, plus provide a number of other services like manicures, pedicures and scalp and facial treatments.

Students can also provide makeup analysis for women, give advice to customers on how to care for their hair, straighten or permanently wave a customer's hair or lighten or darken the customer's hair color.

Client appointments can be scheduled on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to noon and 12:30 to 3 p.m.

Cosmetology students provide services by seniority level and students are trained in the departments of cutting hair, hair coloring, highlights, curling, chemical waves, relaxers and more.

Hair trim and styling are included with hair color and chemical services, but must be done during service appointments.

Information about client services is available at the reception desk of the Cosmetology Department, second floor of the Flato Technologies Building, West Campus.
