Del Mar College is sponsoring a poster design competition – "Educating the Texas Coastal Bend for 75 years" – commemorating 75 years of providing education to the Coastal Bend with a $500 scholarship going to the winner.
Requirements are minimal and leave a lot for students to work with.
The poster should represent Del Mar College as a whole and be 11''x17'' horizontally or vertically.
Just about any medium is accepted and the design can include the 75th Anniversary logo.
Flyers for the poster competition are posted around the Fine Arts Building and any student can submit his or her design despite his or her major.
The Art Department faculty will choose and announce the winner of the scholarship by the end of the semester.
Entries should be submitted to Rosanne Ramsey in the Art Office by next Tuesday at 12:30 p.m.
