I am all for gun laws. I do not want any thug, felon, or crack-head off the street able to tote a semi and pop off for any reason at all. I would also like for to be able to own and carry my gun with the proper permits without backlash from the hippies.
That being said, this plea is less for gun laws and more for the people screwing them up. It is quite obvious that Corpus Christi is making a bid for the most stabbing-est town in the world and I feel as though all others should follow this trend.
I am tired of hearing about shootings, not because I feel for the ones who got killed, but because the shootings are making me nervous about my guns in the future. Please, kill people with knives, bombs, cars, poison, or just get creative.
We fought wars and executed people well before guns were made. Seriously, I used to feel so bad that this stuff went down, but now I’m just annoyed.
Baseball bats, trained attack dogs, or even pull a page out of “Hannibal” and use pigs, but stop shooting people.
Furthermore, statistics show that there are plenty of shootings by people with carry permits. This kind of irresponsibility hurts gun laws even worse by making it seem that even though someone is able to carry legally, he or she will still be just as likely to go on a shooting spree.
I find it absolutely repulsive that someone would go through all the work to legally carry a gun only to break the law in the end.
If you have any urge to shoot someone, please carry your gun illegally and let the rest of us show that responsible people can carry guns and not be complete idiots.
Stop shooting, start stabbing.
