Driving Dumb ( A Quick Thought)

I always hear the saying "Corpus people cant drive" and i completely agree.  Over the past couple of weeks i have experienced some  driving no-no's. One thing i noticed is the amount of people who pull out  unto the main roads when they really should wait. This signals my road rage. JK i don't have road rage but i do find myself cussing at them but its okay, they cant hear me. It so ridiculous when people decided to pull out in front of you knowing they are starting out at five mph and your going 50. Most of the time there's not even that much traffic and they cant wait, they just choose to be idiots. Also the amount of people who go UNDER the speed limit is crazy.i mostly find this problems on Ayers. Now Ayers is already slow, its 35 mph that means you should NOT...

  "Money makes you happy" Something about that quote just makes me think. I am a total believer that money can/can’t make you happy. However before I start ranting about how money can’t make you happy I will state some ways that it can. Money can allow you have the three basic needs in life such as food clothing and shelter. Money can help keep you be financially stable; that’s something we all want, have, or try to obtain .BUT there’s something missing in the money factor.     My prime examples are going to be celebs. Monster Nanny

So tonight was a random night that I just so happened to watch Nancy Grace rather than look at MTV to catch up with the drama on Jersey Shore. I started watching a story about a 53 year old nanny who was caught abusing an 11 year old month child. I couldn't believe what I was seeing on tape. This lady threw this child around, threw a bouncing ball at his head, she was swinging him around like nothing. This poor child was doing NOTHING wrong. He wasn’t crying, he wasn’t throwing a fit, he wasn’t behaving badly, and even if he was, this is a child. A child doesn’t know any better! This baby deserved nothing to take the abuse he was put through. It makes me mad and really emotional. It makes me want to put anyone who abuses children in jail, and maybe even have them...

My First Week Of College

      I would have to say my first week of college was pretty well. I have some awesome teachers & classes but i would have to say my favorite classes  would have to be on Monday and Wednesday when i have newsgathering& editing and layout =).   Even though im considered a freshmen like i was my first yearof high school the experience is way different.  Im not in class from a set time monday through friday, I dont have to eat lunch in the cafeteria  I dont have any loud bells to tell me im late or dismiss me!  I did take a couple of classes in the summer and that experience started out as over my head.
