It's official Rangers clinch first World Series.

And for the first time in their franchise history, the Texas Rangers have won the pennant. "World Series" the two words Ranger fans never thought they would hear. With years and years of struggling with starting pitching the Rangers seemed to be the last team to ever make a fall classic. Yet hear the words "World Series." Then came 2009, when the Rangers were breifly in first place playing outstanding baseball. The Rangers ended up finishing second place behind the Los Angeles Angels leaving the 2009 season on a possitive note. In 2010 the Rangers signed All-Star slugger Vladamire Guerrero giving them more depth at the DH position, to take pressure off Nelson Cruz and Josh Hamilton. Sundays Loss for Dallas

 The Dallas Cowboys did not start the season they way they had planned. with so many penalties the cowboys put themselves in their own hole and went on to lose to the Washington Redskins 10 to 7. In 2006 Dallas was in the same situation. losing the first game of the year the cowboys still went on to make the playoffs. "The dream is still alive its just one game but we must bounce back sunday Quarterback Tony Romo said. Look for the Cowboys to bounce back as they take on the Chicago Bears 12:00 ct on FOX.

 i still need to work on my bus project i havent had any time at all to do it so i know i can do it saturday and have it ready by wednesday because there is no school on monday. i still hope i can become a better writer so thats my goal. and i need to pay attention more because i missed a really important meeting :/ right now im at school with all the editors and i hope i can learn somthing new. :)

 Today at school i worked out in my fitness class and then went to news gathering and writing. i gotta get started on my bus story that i plan to do this week.  In class we received our beat list and I plan to cover Intramurals once again :)

Today i'm starting a new story about the DMC Weight Loss Challenge. Team competition for DMC students and employees. Teams must consist of 3 employees and 2 students. Awards given out monthly to individual and team with most inches lost. Grand prize will be awarded to team and individual with most overall inches lost at the end of the competition.
