Shayla Hall
Shayla Hall is a 22 year old student at Del Mar College. In the Fall 2010, she will graduate with four Associates degrees in the fields of Liberal Arts, Public Relations/Advertising, Journalism, and English with an emphasis in Philosophy.
Shayla has been writing for the DMC Foghorn for three semesters, Her second semester she held the positon of Features writer. She is currently the Features editor and has her own fashion column titled "Shopping With Shayla."
Shayla plans to continue her education at Monclair State University in Moncialr, New Jersey and major in Public Relations.
Shayla enjoys fashion and plans to pursue a career in Fashion PR and journalism.

Through the Pain

This has been the first week of classes and I've been in pain!!! I have a condition known as Eagle Syndrome, a condition that has caused a bone from my skull to continue grow into the side of my neck causing me to have nerve pain and experience bad headaches BUT throughtout the pain i stil got my Shopping with Shayla done! Yeeeeeeyah!

Shayla is the name and Features page is my game! Today has started off pretty well, the newspaper editors and staff met today and came up with our page layouts for the first edition! We are about to "Do Work" as Rob&Big would say! haha! This is my last semester at DMC, so I'm excited to get started and get through it! Hope all goes well and hope we come up with a good Editorial for this first paper! Well I'm about to run...Peace out Cubscouts! Live and Love!
