 The Foghorn received a letter today from an "anonymous" author. First of all...if you're going to talk mess, do it like a man and say who did it. It's not like were going to hunt you down and beat you up. We understand that our first issues have not been our best but you learn through your mistakes. If you were doing it to hurt our feelings, you didn't succeed; we take it as constructive criticism and we make ourselves better writers and reporters while we do it. If you were looking for your 15 minutes of fame to be in the paper, sorry...we only do that to people who are man enough to admit who they are. I think people are taking advantage of the fact that we are an almost completely girl staff this year. We are in the process of showing everyone that we're not the catty...

What to be for Halloween

 In 4 months today I will be 22. Pretty exciting, although not half as exciting as when I turned 21. I love all of the rain we've been having although not the part where the streets flood. It would be cool if I didn't have to drive through it. Yesterday at work a power line blew up across the street from us and we lost power for about two hours. It was pretty cool until I found out we had to stay there despite it being pitch black in the store. I've been contemplating for a while now about what to be for Halloween...Eddie wants to do the traditional doctor and nurse and I've found a really cute costume but there are so many cute costumes I still can't decide. Last year I was snow white and Eddie was a dwarf and it is still my favorite one thus far. I saw a really cute Cinderella one...

Oh Thursday nights

My mom got texting today. Sitting in class I see I have a text and it's from "Madre"...my mom saying "i'm sooocooolllll now" haha I love my mom. Well I'm sitting in the lab, it's 11:36 at night and I'm pretty much done with my page except for this one headline that I can't figure out what to put. For now it is named "awesomely amazing music headline" until tomorrow morning where I will come back refreshed yet tired and actually have an awesome real headline. I'm consumed with the thought of going home to sleep but at the same time, deciding if I should satisfy my urge for a honey mustard crispy chicken salad from Whataburger. I'm going to take these last 20 minutes to decide if I should...

 I really don't have anything interesting I want or need to blog about tonight. I would blog about the dumb people I encounter at work but I don't want to get worked up about it, sadly nothing interesting happened in school except I had my first test which I must admit went really well, and that's pretty much it. But seeing as how I get a gold star for blogging, I decided to do that to have something good happen today. My ac went out in my car which sucks cause its a relatively new car but I guess once you get in an accident, nothing is ever the same...on the bright side, I get to drive my moms SUV while they are out of town and I love my moms SUV. I feel big on the road...but tiny inside. Thats pretty much it...I think I'm gonna go find some homework to do. 

It's the little things

 Today was a day that defined the little things. I wasn't very excited about spending all day at work. I was told that I had to train a newbie on register all day which usually isn't too thrilling because I get frustrated with how slow they are. The girl turned out to be pretty cool, and caught on pretty quick. At the end of my lunch break, Eddie came to visit me with our new puppy CIrca who everybody loved and couldn't keep their hands off of. I also got to work with my favorite person who quit a few weeks ago because she got a better job but it turns out she is still going to be working there on the weekends. After my long day at work, I came home to flowers on the table and Eddie making an awesome dinner. I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend. We took the dogs for a walk and then I...
